about

This album is a guitaristic interpretation of photos by Lewis Hine and Jacob Riis, the idea was to play while looking at the photos, in the most genuine way possible, they are complete improvisations, only played the first time I picked up the guitar and saw the photos, it was recorded using guitars made between the 20s and 50s, guitars that are very difficult to play, just as life was difficult for the people represented in the photos.

Doing this exercise made me think about all these lives lost in time, how many of these people would have been artists if they had had the time, if their world had let them live. what would they have to say about the world? yet, thanks to the work of men like Lewis Hine and Jacob Riis, they manage to talk to us, they had managed to change their world without even knowing it, and now they look at us as if saying "Don't forget us, we have lived these lives so you can now live yours, better than ours"
